Training Assistant:
Ally McDonald

Ally was a Nourish customer before joining Nourish. ‘I visited Nourish regularly to pick up different supplements and foods and always found the staff to be incredibly knowledgeable and helpful’.

She joined us in 2012 as a full-time Sales Assistant in our GPO Arcade Store in Dublin. At the time she was studying Nutritional Therapy, which complimented her role perfectly. Ally progressed to Assistant Manager, and then Store Manager before joining the Training Team as our Training Assistant in 2020.

Ally’s favourite thing about her role is working with people who share her ethos for health and wellness.

‘It’s great to work with a like-minded team who all have the common goal of supporting people to live healthier, happier lives.’

As part of the Training Team, Ally plays a central role in designing and curating training materials to equip our teams with the knowledge and skills they need to effectively advise our customers.

‘I love how much Nourish invests into developing knowledge; they value expertise and prioritise education and learning.’

Training Manager:
Rita Tarvydaite

Rita is our Training Manager at Nourish and, together with Ally, ensures each member of staff is equipped with the knowledge and resources needed to advise our customers. Rita joined Nourish as a part-time Sales Assistant in Nutgrove back in 2011. She then moved to our GPO Arcade Store where she progressed to Store Manager before joining the training team as our Training Manager.

Rita is a trained and practising Herbalist and Naturopath and has a wealth of knowledge on health, nutrition, and herbal medicine. Rita also follows a vegan diet, so she always has some great tips on cooking up tasty plant-based meals and snacks.

Rita was originally drawn to Nourish after hearing about the training provided for all staff. Her favourite part of her job is teaching and creating training materials for our teams so that we can provide the best customer experience across our stores.

In the space of 10 months, Líadan progressed from Sales Assistant, to Store Supervisor, to her current role of Essentials Manager where she leads the teams in our Stephens Green, ILAC Centre and Portmarnock locations.

‘In the short amount of time I’ve been here, I’ve met some amazing people and made close friendships, making it a truly great place to work.’
