Baked Banana Walnut Chocolate Chunk Oat Bars


The perfect snack to take with you on the go, or for the little ones to take to school. Just remove the cashews and peanut butter to make this nut-free for back-to-school and enjoy this 5-ingredient delicious oat bar.

– 10 minutes
Cooking Time – 20 minutes
Servings – 8 – 10



1. Preheat your oven to 180C (350F).

2. Line an 8 inch tray with baking paper and lightly grease with coconut oil.

3. Blend or mix together the peanut butter and banana (or nut/seed butter of choice).

4. Add the oats and mix well to combine.

5. Fold in the chopped walnuts and chocolate chunks. The batter will be thick.

6. Place the batter into the prepared tin, spread evenly using a spatula or the back of a spoon.

7. Bake for 20 minutes.

8. Remove from the oven, allow to cool fully in the tin before slicing. Store in the fridge in a sealed container for up to 5 days or freeze for up to one month in a sealed freezer safe container.
